Mindfulness meditation is a practice that allows you to let go of thoughts and calm your body and mind. It can become very powerful when you start your meditation with an intention, such as replacing feelings of stress with feelings of peacefulness and appreciation.

The key is to allow your mind to understand your intention. Use an image, such as a white dove or an image of relaxing at the beach to start your meditation time.

1. Put on meditative music without words.

2. Begin to stare at place on the wall across the room above eye level

3. Focus on that one spot as you are noticing your natural breathing.

4. Continue to do this for 1-2 minutes as you notice your eyes becoming heavy and wanting to close. Notice that when you blink your eyes close and by the end of 1-2 minutes you are ready for your eyes to remain closed.

5. With eyes closed, notice the feeling of the back of your eyelids. Feel the smoothness of them. Notice different areas of you body, one at a time. Really notice them. Notice your forehead. Notice your right hand and notice that when you do this, it feels different than your left hand. Do this until you feel very relaxed.

6. Begin to go to a place in your mind that is peaceful. It might be a beach, a park, a waterfall, anywhere out in nature is best. Use as many of your senses as you enjoy this place. What do you see? Can you imagine a feeling, such as a breeze on your skin? Can you imagine sounds, perhaps the waves of the ocean or birds singing? Stay in this peaceful place as long as you like, allowing your mind and body to experience the sense of peace and calm.

7.Once you have established a very relaxed feeling, place your index finger and thumb together on either hand to create an anchor. This action of placing your index finger and thumb locks in the peaceful feeling to this action. Anytime you want to return to the feeling of peace and calm you have created, simply use your anchor by placing the thumb and index finger together and closing your eyes for a moment to bring it right back. The more you use your anchor, the more powerful it is.

I hope you enjoy your time in mindful meditation and use your hypnosis anchor regularly to experience more joy in your life!
